Refund Policy

At AMINATA Fashion Jewelries (“Aminata,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we take pride in creating thoughtfully handcrafted jewelry made with care by skilled artisans across Asia. Each piece is carefully inspected before shipping. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please review our refund and return policy below.

1. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • Items must be returned within [7/14] days of delivery

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition

  • Items must be returned with original packaging, tags, and proof of purchase

Due to hygiene and quality reasons, items that show signs of wear, damage, or alteration cannot be accepted.

2. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable and non-returnable:

  • Customized or personalized jewelry

  • Sale or discounted items (unless defective)

  • Gift cards

  • Items damaged due to improper care or normal wear and tear

3. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos or videos of the item

  • A brief description of the issue

Upon verification, we will offer a replacement, store credit, or refund at no additional cost to you.

4. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method

  • Processing time may take 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error

5. Exchange Policy

We currently offer exchanges for:

  • Size-related issues (where applicable)

  • Defective or incorrect items

All exchanges are subject to availability. If the requested item is unavailable, a refund or store credit will be issued.

6. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as Aminata is not responsible for lost or undelivered return shipments

7. Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within [12/24] hours of purchase, provided the order has not yet been processed or shipped.

Once an order has been shipped, cancellations are no longer possible and must follow the return process instead.

8. International Orders

For international returns:

  • Customers are responsible for customs duties, taxes, and return shipping fees

  • Original shipping fees and import taxes are non-refundable

9. Fair Use & Artisan-Made Disclaimer

As each Aminata piece is handcrafted, slight variations in color, texture, or finish are natural and part of the design. These variations are not considered defects and do not qualify for refunds.
